Beautiful Senior... {NEWBURGH, IN SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER}

Miss Ashley is stunning! She is just as beautiful on the inside as the outside! Of course, I always enjoy spending time with my seniors for lots of reasons...they actually do what I ask them for poses, they have awesome clothes & are usually up for going to all the crazy places I drag them!! Usually on our adventures, we have fun and come up with some inside jokes from something that happened but it is usually more of a "had to be there moment". Well, Ashley and I have quite a few stories we could tell from this session, lol! Let's just say we met some interesting people along the way, left few things behind & had to go back for them, and a green mountain bike that didn't match anything we were doing! BUT, none of this stopped us from rockin' some great shots of her! Hope you enjoy : )

Kyle {NEWBURGH, IN SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER}

Meet Kyle... I don't have to say much, just take a look at his pics! Such a cutie! He was so easy going, relaxed & funny...which is a good thing. For senior sessions, we go anywhere & everywhere that I can find that has old, rusty, worn out looking buildings! I LOVE it!! I have been a fan way before being a photographer...my dream job is/was to Save old buildings & houses from being torn down. Plus, I love antiques...my house is full of them. I have collected since I was about 19 or so.. so quite a few years,lol. Now, I get to incorporate that love into my photography : )

Anyway, half the fun of going to places is the stuff that happens along the way... even weird guys checking on us to see if we are making a meth lab! No, for the record we were not!!! So, lots of fun & cute guy makes for great pics! Enjoy : )

Love the attitude of this HS Senior... his new tattoo reads "I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me Phil 4:13"

MY GIRLS... {EVANSVILLE, IN CHILD PHOTOGRAPHER}

My three girls... I'm sure you are all familiar with them by now. For Spring Break, I promised them some quality time with me.. so we spent an entire day at the City Museum in St. Louis with my sister and her kids. We had such a great time, a place for all ages & lots to do, especially on a rainy, sleeting, cold day.. can you believe that? We planned to go on Friday, all week awesome weather and as we are heading out the snow/sleet started. lol! We made the most of it & didn't let it slow us down one bit : ) Well, one of the other things the girls asked to do,have me shoot some pics of them. So here they are... all wearing their own clothes, showing their own styles! And yes, they are each very different...I LOVE them more for it! Hope you enjoy them...

Whitney {EVANSVILLE, IN SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER}

Sometimes as a photographer, I have to shoot for myself... What I mean by this is that I have an idea, or an outfit,a prop, or maybe all of the above! lol! I go just to play or try out new things. It is good for my soul... it increases my creativity, makes me more inspired. If I just shoot for clients all the time, then I could lose who I am as a person. I do have a style, I do have things that are "me" in every picture I take. SO.. here are few of my oldest daughter, Whitney that were taken really for me, as a photographer. The perk, I get to have amazing pictures of my beautiful daughter!

Whitney,my oldest daughter had alot of fun hanging out & playing in fun clothes! We were joined by my good friend & amazing photographer, Kim Hinkle! If you are in Southern Illinois & need a photographer, look her up!

Look at the Big Boy.. Turned 2 {EVANSVILLE, INDIANA CHILDREN'S PHOTOGRAPHER}

This little guy belongs to friends of mine...I have done his pictures for quite awhile. In fact, you've seen him as little baby standing up between his parents legs on my website... He just celebrated a birthday and I owed his Dad one! I played a joke last time we did pictures from a "moment" that happened and I just happened to catch it and was able to share with his Dad...can't tell, but he wasn't laughing! The rest of us have though... Anyway, I caught an amazing shot of him in his Dad's favorite team jersey! So the slate is clean : )
Hope you enjoy!

Two Year Old Twins...Mr C & C

Quick preview of these charming two little guys...they were alot of fun getting to know. I love children & learning from them. They are like snowflakes, no two are alike! Some laugh more, some are quieter,some are silly, some like blowing kisses...but all wonderful just how they are. And I'm lucky enough to get to catch a glimpse of them through my lens.

Growing like a weed...

My baby girl turned 5 few weeks ago! I cannot even believe 5 years has gone by, but then I say that more so with my 12 & 14 year olds. Today we got up to start our day and Lauren, my middle daughter wanted to get Maddie ready. She helped her pick out her clothes & braided her hair for her. When they came downstairs, I knew I needed to take a snap of her because she looked so cute. LOL! Lauren had told her I would want to... do they know their momma or what! I'm so glad I did- This afternoon, Maddie had a dr appt to get her ears checked. She has had problems with ear infections since she was a baby (tubes in ears, etc). I forgot all about scheduling her physical for Kindergarten at the same time. Her dad texted me late this afternoon while I was working to tell me what all she was having done. I felt so bad that I was not their with her..... for the physical she had to get shots, but even worse she has a wart we recently found right between her big toe/2nd toe (yes,for all the show lovers out there it's right where all the cute flip-flops & sandals will rub) They had previously tried to put acid on it to get rid of because freezing it would most definitely be painful. Needless to say, they had to freeze it today, ouch! I decided to head that way & wait in the lobby to surprise her (I knew they were almost done). Here they came through the doors and as soon as she saw me, those huge aligator tears came pouring out. She jumped into my arms & hung on super tight. I felt even worse that I hadn't been there to hold her hand...but so glad I decided to be there when she came out. AND even more glad I had taken the few minutes to take the photo of her this morning. I will always remember the day when I see it, the story that goes with it...

I took one of my favorite pics of Maddie last April and it was in the same outfit that she wore today. I couldn't resist putting them together and seeing just how much she has grown, fast as a weed. She is definitely looking like a little lady these days.
